Your Safety
Absolutely nothing is more important than your personal safety. In other words, no violation of disabled parking is worth putting yourself in harm’s way.
In general, keep in mind that you are using Parking Mobility in areas where vehicles are moving around. Always remain aware of your surroundings and ensure that you are not in the path of any moving vehicle.
For your safety, we have designed Parking Mobility to minimize the amount of time you need to be around the vehicle parked illegally. The less time you’re around the vehicle, the less likely you may be confronted by the owner.
When you see a violation, the following can be done in 2-3 minutes:
- Whip out your phone
- Start the Parking Mobility app
- Take 3 photos of the vehicle
- …Walk (or roll!) away…
Once away from the vehicle, you can provide any optional information you would like (eg, the license plate number) and submit your report. Easy and done!
If you are confronted by someone while taking the 3 photos, we strongly encourage you to simply walk (or roll!) away. Again, no violation is worth putting yourself in harm’s way. But also remember that taking photos of an illegally parked vehicle is a legal activity — you have done absolutely nothing wrong.
As stipulated in Parking Mobility’s Terms of Service which you agree to by registering with us, your involvement with Parking Mobility is a voluntary decision and you accept responsibility for your activity.
